InspiredON’s mission really is quite simple: Deliver inspiring stories to the world.

We look for stories that will help people focus not on the negativity of life — there certainly are enough venues and outlets for that in the mainstream media — but on stories that will uplift and inspire.

Those stories are out there; they are all around us. But they hide in plain sight. Every now and then they’re featured prominently in the media somewhere. They may come at the tail-end of some newscast — something positive or happy that the broadcast company feels they have to air so they can end an almost entirely negative show on an up note. Well, it’s those “up notes” that we want to focus on. It’s those stories that capture our attention when someone moves forward with a determination to break through the obstacles that confront him or her in life.

In a modern media landscape that bombards you with a constant barrage of meaningless celebrity news, politically slanted reportage, and an onslaught of commentary that serves to attack and degrade, InspiredON exists to separate itself with compelling stories that uplift the human spirit.

People, especially in today’s troubled social and economic times, long to be inspired on to better things. Words matter. Images matter. Stories matter. What you ingest daily — what you listen to, watch or read — shapes your mind daily.

We will bring you stories from all walks of life of real people who have served to inspire others by their drive, determination, and unwillingness to submit, quit or give in. These are people who live in your community, your town, your city, who walk among you with amazingly inspirational stories of triumph — who you may even know, at least on the surface, but who you don’t really know at an intimate level. We will find those people and bring you those stories. And when you hear them, you will be humbled. You will be grateful that you were exposed to them. And you will be … InspiredON.

The stories and posts here at InspiredON can be as simple as single photograph; they can be complex and multi-layered. But at their core, they will be inspiring. This is not necessarily a “happy news” website. Sometimes a story will bring a smile to your face, or make you laugh. But these inspirational stories sometimes have a way of being bittersweet. They’ll bring a smile to your face and at the same time a tear to your eye. That’s the way these stories often go — devastation, injury, illness, even death … followed by opportunity, rebirth, nurturing, growth, imagination, fulfillment.
